Jockey Graham Lee will remain sidelined indefinitely thanks to an ongoing issue with a virus.
The 40-year-old – who was victorious in the Ascot Gold Cup in 2015 with Trip To Paris – missed last weekend’s meeting at Ascot due to illness and it remains unclear when he will return to the saddle.
After two weeks missing, his agent Richard Hale says they are still monitoring him but remain none the wiser as to when he will be fit to return.
He said: “There’s no date set. It won’t be for a week or two yet, I wouldn’t have thought.
“It seems to be a virus that he can’t shake off. It’s the worst time of year for it, I’ve had a couple of people on this morning asking for him but I can’t tell them anything at the moment.”
